Providence Cross Country Teams Earn NCAA All-Academic Honors NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the annual NCAA All-Academic honors for the Cross Country season on Feb. 9. Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams earned All-Academic honors based on the cumulative team grade point average. For the Fall semester, the women’s team earned a GPA of 3.33 while the men’s team had a GPA of 3.11. Providence annually earns All-Academic honors. In 2013, the women’s team earned the NCAA Division 1 Scholar Team of the Year for having the highest team GPA in the country.
