| Men’s Lacrosse Player Tate Boyce Earns BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Providence College men’s lacrosse junior goaltender Tate Boyce (Matthews, N.C) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league on Monday, Feb. 19. The Friars have earned BIG EAST weekly recognition for two-consecutive weeks. Boyce finished with 12 saves in the Friars’ victory over Bryant (13-8) on Feb. 17. |

| Providence Cross Country Teams Earn NCAA All-Academic Honors NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the annual NCAA All-Academic honors for the Cross Country season on Feb. 9. Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams earned All-Academic honors based on the cumulative team grade point average. For the Fall semester, the women’s team earned a GPA of 3.33 while the men’s team had a GPA of 3.11. Providence annually earns All-Academic honors. In 2013, the women’s team earned the NCAA Division 1 Scholar Team of the Year for having the highest team GPA in the country. |
